The singer has already made a 4,800 CFH gown purchase while visiting Bern, Switzerland’s opulent capital city (approximately Ksh. 690k).

The same goes for her wedding shoes, which she purchased for a pricey 1,200 CFH (approximately Ksh. 172k).

The extravagantly sarcastic diva claims that she intended to go shopping in Paris but that it was difficult because of the widespread demonstrations, which have been the focus of the headlines for the last few months due to her whirlwind relationship with her Swiss fiancé Mr. Schweizer.

“I had planned to shop in Paris, so I could see both my husband, my boys, and my daughter within 5 days, but due to strikes and demonstrations, I couldn’t make it to France or even to put an eye on my boys.  I also wanted to shop in Paris because I didn’t want Mr. Omondi to see my shopping especially the dress, “she exclusively told Citizen Digital.

The 2023 gown, purchased from the upmarket Switzerland-based Mery’s Couture, is an Autumn white lace fishtail marvel garlanded with sparkly Swarovski stones.

Speaking about the gown, Akothee says that it is the perfect birthday gift for her and added that she had to do at least three fittings to find the perfect gown.

“I have never received gifts in my life; people think I have more than enough. So, being in love has shown me what it feels like to be appreciated… I’m also delighted I went on the trip because it took me three fittings to locate the ideal outfit,” she admitted.

In classic Akothee manner, the singer missed the opportunity to brag about the dress’s purchase and following first-class flight transportation.

I truly am the luckiest girl in the world, she said. I’ve been totally pampered by Omosh. My elegant gown took a first-class flight. She said as she proudly uploaded a video of the majestic event, “And so did I.

Akothee’s fairytale wedding is slated to go down on the 10th of April (Easter Monday) at the sprawling Windsor Gardens.

Her fiancé, nicknamed Mr. Omosh, is a Caucasian man from Switzerland. The pair met through an old friend of Akothee only known as Pius.
