Nairobi Man Collapses After Finding Out The Apartment He’s Been Paying Rent For 9 Years Belong To His Jobless Wife
After being duped by his wife for the entire nine years, a Nairobi man has seen miracles. When he realized the flats he had been paying rent on belonged to his wife, who also happened to be unemployed, he was so shocked he lost consciousness.
Richard Githirwa, who unintentionally gained access to his wife’s email, discovered emails from KRA that detailed her tax income and explained that the residence, which is home to 29 other renters, is owned by the wife and is overseen by a real estate company. His rent for the past nine years has been above 4.8 million dollars, roughly.
According to medical reports, Mr. Githirwa collapsed and was rushed to the hospital by househelp & neighbour after reading his wife’s email on their home computer and found out the apartment he has paid rent totaling over 4.8 million in nine years belongs to his jobless wife.
The apartment which has other 29 tenants and managed by a real estate firm has been owned by the wife since 2009 before the two got married.
