Muhoozi: I asked dad to allow me beat Kenyans who invaded Uhuru land but he refused

Yoweri Museveni’s son Muhoozi Kainerugaba has joked that he tried to convince his father to send him and his troops to Kenya to deal with the thugs that broke into Uhuru Kenyatta’s Northlands property on March 27.

On April 1, Muhoozi posted the following on his Twitter account: “I asked Mzee (Museveni) to deploy me as the lead commander to Northlands [Farm in Ruiru, Kiambu County in Kenya]. To restore order [at Northland Farm], all we required were 200 Uganda People’s Defense Force (UPDF) soldiers. I told him that Kenyans needed to be beaten severely, but Museveni refused to send us there.

In yet another tweet, Muhoozi referred to Kenyans as “biggest thieves” who need to be “turned into tomato soup”.

During the Northlands invasion, the Kenyatta family lost to the goons more than 1,500 sheep and several eucalyptus trees that were felled.

Referring to Uhuru Kenyatta as his “big brother” in another tweet on Saturday, Muhoozi said everything should be done to protect the former Kenyan president.

Muhoozi’s latest series of tweets marks another instance in which he is making sarcastic comments towards Kenya.

He estimated that it would take him little more than two hours to assault Nairobi and annex it to Uganda in October 2022.

The son of the president of Uganda’s words from October 2022 led to tension between Kenya and Uganda on the diplomatic front.

Museveni would later remove his son from the Ugandan army’s command center. But he elevated him to the position of general.

“Public officials, whether civilian or military, have no business opining on or meddling in the internal affairs of other nations. Then why did I elevate Muhoozi to the rank of Full General in light of his remarks? This is due to the fact that his error was one instance in which he behaved poorly as a public official. But, the general made and continues to make a number of other valuable contributions, according to Museveni.
