Through his Instagram stories, the artist expressed his readiness to attend Chira’s funeral to create a moving tribute to the late content creator.
“It would be an honor to play the song at the funeral and help make it a cherished memory for him if possible… I’m asking everyone in attendance to learn the lyrics so we can sing and celebrate his life,” he wrote.
Otile Brown also acknowledged Chiro’s significant role in increasing the popularity of “One Call” after his untimely death.
“What Chira did with #OneCall was simply extraordinary. His passion shone brightly and his love was deeply felt. Sending sincere love and prayers. Rest in peace, King,” he expressed.
Brian Chira’s funeral is scheduled for March 26, 2024.
In a statement to the TikTok community on Wednesday, March 20, Baba Talisha, a close associate of the late Brian Chira, shared relevant details regarding the closing rites for the content creator.
He disclosed that the funeral service will be held in Githunguri, Kiambu County, the hometown of Chira’s grandmother, where he will eventually be laid to rest.
“The funeral is scheduled for March 26 and will take place in Githunguri where his grandmother currently lives,” revealed Baba Talisha.
In addition, Baba Talisha invited those who want to say goodbye to Chira in person.
He urged individuals to gather at the Kenyatta funeral home and clarified that there would be no opportunity to view the body post-mortem.
In addition, he shared his grandmother’s wish that Chira be laid to rest in her prom dress.
“His grandmother insisted that Chira be dressed in a prom dress. He was exceptionally bright in his academic endeavours,” he revealed.
Chira’s death
Law enforcement confirmed the tragic death of the TikTok luminary, attributing it to severe head injuries she suffered in the accident.
Prior to the accident, reports indicate that Chira was patronizing a bar in the Gacharae area, from where he was later kicked out following a disturbance.
While on his way home on his motorcycle, he was hit by a moving truck while crossing the road near his destination. The truck fled the scene after the collision.
A quick police response led to his body being moved to the city mortuary, where grieving fans and relatives gathered for a final farewell.
Condolences poured in from various quarters on social media, offering solace to the bereaved family.
TikTok personality Nyako expressed her grief, remembering her significant connection with the deceased and urging followers to reflect on their own life journeys and final moments.
After a recent hiatus from social media, there were concerns about his well-being.
In a previous statement, he assured fans that his absence was only a period of self-reflection and improvement after a difficult phase.
“After a stormy year, I took a break. I’m good. Hold on. Not every day is trendy. I needed to focus on self-improvement and now I feel better,” he said in an Instagram post.
