
Nandi County Senator Samson Cherargei on Tuesday condoled with the family of Brian Chira as the TikTok entertainer was laid to rest at his mother’s home in Githunguri, Kiambu County.
UDA Senator Musa Kajwang from Teluk Homa sponsored the bill in the Senate as he expressed his condolences on the death of the 23-year-old man and comfort to his family.
“Mr. Speaker, among these many thoughts, I want to support this bill and I want to assure Kenyans that we will do everything necessary for the development of this nation. TikToker, Brian Chira, who was buried today in Kiambu. Our condolences to the family and our friends,” said Senator Cherargei in the Senate.
The politician advised the youth to be careful and considerate in their lives and urged them not to engage in risky activities.
“I urge the youth to be responsible and careful in life. Especially when you go out to have fun in the city and town,” he said.
The senator was speaking while burying the late content creator in Githunguri, Kiambu County. The body of the deceased was taken to Kenyatta University Mortuary on Tuesday morning.
Fans, family members and friends saw the body of the TikToker at the morgue. Mourners traveled to Kiambu County for the funeral, which was attended by TikTokers, celebrities and online media.
Among the celebrities who attended the funeral were Otile Brown, who performed the famous song ‘One Ring’, and politician Peter Salasia.
“I just want to say thank you for letting me be here with you. I don’t know Chira, but I see her love through ‘One Call,'” he told mourners.
Chira died on Saturday morning, March 16, 2024. Chira was the son of late Sophia Wambui Chira, grandson of Esther Njeri and nephew of Regina Njoki Chira and late Elisa Njoki Chira.
