Kenya — Police officers in Migori county have nabbed a man masquerading as a woman and have taken him for interrogation over his identity.
In the police report, the officers summoned the individual and upon questioning found out that he was a 21-year-old man named Jared Opiyo Nyatumba who hails from Homa Bay and was not Sheila Bichange as he claimed.

Nyatumba told officers that he dressed as a woman because he had feminine characteristics since childhood.
Deborah Wangechi, 23, was allegedly burnt with hot oil by her boyfriend during an argument.
He was dressed in cute clothes, but was found with no feminine features after being asked to strip.
Awendo residents learned that a man posing as a woman had been arrested and went to the police station in numbers to see the suspect.
It turns out that the impersonator was connected to a string of murders allegedly committed by a suspect posing as a woman in the area, and they wanted to teach him a lesson.

“The suspect was brought to them through the reporting window, but they insisted that he should be handed over to them for lynching,” the report said.
