I bought it in 2004. With all those governments, where was the EACC? The government sold me that land. Where were you in 1980? Try me one day.`

Controversial city preacher, Apostle James Maina Ng’ang’a, has gone on the offensive as he reacted to allegations by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission that he seized land from Kenya Railway.
The EACC identified the prime land where Pastor Ng’ang’s church is located among those captured from Kenya Railways, setting the stage for the preacher’s response.
In his speech, the preacher dared the commission to come for the land located at the intersection between Haile Selassie Avenue and Uhuru Highway.
“EACC should look for their age mates. I am not their age mates. And even though we are age mates, we never went to school together. You say I stole the land.
The land which has a title deed dated 1980. It came out in 1993. I got out of prison in 1993. He came out in 1999. I bought it in 2004. said the preacher.
He narrated that he bought the land in 2004, eleven years after his release from prison, and claimed that the documents he had were not fake.
“And you say it’s fake. Your mother is fake. Don’t talk nonsense to me.
If it’s a steal, ask CBK. And EACC goes to land records. Stop the comedy because you want to destroy the name of the government,” Ng’ng’a added.
He promised to stand up to any politician who wants to frustrate him, threaten to unleash things and do things they themselves don’t believe in.
“1980 was Moi’s office. Kibali came. Uhuru came when the title was issued. I never bought it with Uhuru.
I bought it in 2004. With all those governments, where was the EACC? The government sold me that land. Where are you was it 1980? Try me one day.
I’ll do something you all won’t believe. You’ll see me send you stuff. And you won’t know it’s me. Go play with Benny Hinn, but not me.
I don’t know, I’m not a pastor nor the bishop, do they not lay the blame on me?” he said, as captured in the video.
