Kibera’s top Stivo Simple Boy has broken his silence after fainting during an interview on Citizen TV’s 10 over 10 show.

On Friday night, Stivo shocked viewers and social media users after he fainted on stage in the middle of an interview on Citizen TV.

The rapper has now released a short statement trying to explain what may have led to the unfortunate incident.

He indicated that he was under stress during the interview, which is why he passed out.

“Meneja rudi tupige kazi nimeishiwa nguvu watu wasitukosanishe. Stress inanipiga mpka naanguka kwa stage niki perform. Mnatakuniharibia mpaka meneja,” said Stivo.

He added “Kuna pressure kwa street” in a post on his social media.

The Stivo Simple Boy incident

Azeezah Hashim was interviewing  Stivo on Friday night before he started struggling for breath mid-interview.

Within seconds, the rapper was unable to continue the conversation as he decided to bend what looked like he was trying to ease what was bothering him.

However, he eventually passed out, causing everyone on the show to panic. The host of the show was forced to call a quick break to attend to Simple Boy.

A few minutes later, Azeezah returned with an update – assuring everyone that Stivo was fine after the unfortunate incident.

“Steve, how are you… the fans were a bit worried when they saw what happened? Azeezah asked

He replied: “I’m doing well at the moment…and I’ll be sharing more through my Instagram so they know what really happened,”.

Azeezah went on to assure fans that he will host Stivo Simple Boy again at 10:10 a.m. once he fully recovers.

The incident made Simple Boy a popular topic, with Netizens sharing mixed reactions to the entire scenario.
