No case! DJ Joe Mfalme Freed, after being found not guilty of murder, becomes a state witness

Disc jockey Joseph Mwenda popularly known as DJ Joe Mfalme has been released from custody in the ongoing murder case of Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) officer Felix Keliano.
This happened after the court found him not guilty on Monday, April 8. DJ and his five co-accused, including three policemen, will become state witnesses.

The other co-accused are; Eric Kariuki Gathua, Simon Wambugu Wanjiru, Khadija Abdi Wako, Sammy Cheruiyot Rotich and Agnes Kerubo Mogoiare. The DJ and his team have been in remand for the past two weeks as police try to wrap up the investigation.
In a letter dated April 5, the Director of Public Prosecutions ordered that Allan Ochieng, who was one of the accused in the attack on Kelian that allegedly caused his death, will now be charged with murder.
Hours before his arraignment in court, the DJ said his online fans and supporters had expressed their gratitude to them for the support he received during the difficult time.
