Drama in Kisumu as Young Man Hires Entire Bus to Nairobi After Selling Land

A young man sparked a sensation by renting an entire bus to travel alone to Nairobi, leaving Kisumu residents stunned and laughing. A sizable number of interested bystanders saw the spectacular event that took place at the Kisumu bus terminal on Sunday.
The unnamed individual, who was in his early 30s, reportedly sold a piece of land in Nyakach recently for an undisclosed sum of money, according to witnesses. He shocked everyone by reserving all 51 seats in a coach headed for Nairobi rather than choosing a regular seat on a public bus.
One of the bus attendants remarked, “He told us he doesn’t like noise and wanted to travel in peace.”
Some passengers remained to witness the strange spectacle, while others who had intended to board the same bus were forced to look for other options. As the empty bus drove away, the man, wearing gaudy clothing and sunglasses, was spotted sitting comfortably close to the window and waving.
One worried Kisumu resident remarked, “He has a right to enjoy his wealth, but I hope he invests wisely.”
Although specifics are still unknown, sources indicate the individual intends to invest in a new company in Nairobi. Social media users have subsequently dubbed him “The VIP Passenger” after his story went viral.
