Raburu filed a lawsuit against the telecommunications company in the High Court in May 2023,
but the case was transferred to the business of the Managing Business on May 9, 2023.
Raburu The court ordered Airtel Kenya to pay Raburu KSh5 million and additional compensation for the illegal use of its trademark.
Raburu argued that he registered the trademark “Bazu” with the trade name registration number 116744.
