Jimma, an Addis Ababa-based woman known as Muluwerk, told a UK-based YouTuber that she hasn’t drunk water in over a decade, apart from food.
Muluwerk revealed that he was taken to three foreign countries including India, Qatar and Dubai for medical tests, but doctors found him to be healthy and normal like any other person.
“I haven’t eaten in the last 16 years. I lost my appetite when I was in primary school.
“Regarding medicine, I went to a doctor in Dubai who found nothing wrong with my stomach but questioned my mental state.” said Muluwork.

Muluwerk, 26, said that although he has not eaten for the past 16 years, he has been farming and every time he harvests his crops, he lets his sister harvest.
“I’ll let the vegetables grow and when it’s harvest time, I’ll let my mother or sister pick them and eat them,” said the mother of one.
Life is like living without ever eating a meal or visiting the bathroom to make a quick phone call; Muluwerk said it was only God’s work.
“When I was pregnant with my daughter, the doctor gave me glucose to replenish the body’s natural energy and she was given formula when she was born. Living the way I live is God’s work. He added.
However, he said that many people are always surprised by his lifestyle, especially church members, but he feels that God has created him in a unique way to be the focus of healthy temptations.
