One of Jeff’s family’s close friends, Peter Kioi, has publicly assured Kenyans that justice will be served in this case. Peter has led the way in protests and has actively pushed the investigation team to act quickly

During the interview, Peter said that he is ready to die for justice for Jeff. He said that we can’t allow such evil things to happen in this nation and the the police try to cover up for the killers.
Peter went on and revealed to the public that, when things seemed to be going slow, him and friends of jeff, had already collected enough money, to go to Kitui and seek the services of the witchdoctor.
But, in light of the DCI report and the homicide team’s efforts, they made the decision to offer Jeff’s mother that money for maintenance and general support during this trying time.

Peter and the rest of the team are confident that justice will be served since the killers will be brought to justice, Jeff Mwathi’s body may be excavated, and postmortem will be conducted.

Until justice is served, protesters led by Peter Kioi, who has been in the forefront of the struggle for Jeff’s justice, have sworn they will not let up. Peter claimed that someone is responsible for the entire narrative, which explains why the DCI team isn’t doing much to address the Jeff situation.

He even made comparisons between Jeff’s case and other murder investigations, noting that only in Jeff’s case are the main suspects, lead by Dj Fatxo, still free to roam the streets.
Peter and the rest of the group said that if the legal system fails to uphold justice, it will be carried out manually. So that he might experience the same kind of suffering that Jeff did, they will kidnap one of the primary suspects and toss him from the 12th story of an apartment.

The demonstrators have sworn to keep on protesting, and they sincerely hope that justice will be delivered quickly and that Dj Fatxo and the other suspects will be tried in court and sentenced to prison.
