Controversial gospel artist Alex Apoko popularly known as Ringtone claims that he had plans to marry musician Akothee.

Ringtone, whose words are often taken as clout-chasing, said that he loves the Akothee Safaris entrepreneur very much and had many plans to make her his legal wife in case he did not have a woman to marry.

He also allegedly wrote Akothee a check for nearly one million, saying it was a gift for her wedding, which he did not attend.

“I have written a check for 999k to Esther Akoth, I love Akothee very much, and one day, I was planning to marry Akothee if I didn’t have a woman to marry.

She’s just a very nice person and I like flirty women, as long as his flirtiness takes me to God,” Ringtone said

However, Ringtone said that he was not invited to the wedding despite his love for her.

“Akothee hakuolewa, alioa. Yule hawezi olewa. Na Omosh akicheza anapigwa, akikataa kufanya kazai za ndani atapigwa. Pale Omosh pengine alipenda Akothee lakini hakumjua vizuri, pale kupigwa nako atapigwa sana. Lakini asiogope kusema maana sisi ndio tutamtetea.” Ringtone said.

The boastful gospel artist confessed that if he were to attend Akothee’s wedding, there would be many helicopters and no landing space.

The artist said that in Kenyan art, there are only two billionaire artists, saying that it was him and another artist who is very ambitious, KRG the Don – and yes the rich were not invited to the wedding, dismissing the other artists who were invited as “hungry people”.
