Boomplay unveils the all-Kenyan lineup for the upcoming music extravaganza, BoomFest
Africa’s leading music streaming and download platform, Boomplay, has announced its new live music festival, BoomFest.
Kicking off in Kenya on Saturday 6th April 2024 at the A.S.K Dome from 2pm, it promises to be a celebration of the vibrant music industry in Kenya.
Additionally, the event marks a significant milestone for Boomplay as it expands its unique music offering beyond the digital realm to include a live music experience.
- BoomFest 2024 Kenya Edition is all about highlighting the rich diversity of Kenyan music while bringing together 13 top artists.
- The lineup reads like a who’s who of the Kenyan music scene featuring names like:
- Khaligraph,
- Nadia Mukami,
- Arrow Bwoy,
- Femi One,
- Nameless,
- Bahati,
- Willy Paul,
- Ssaru,
- Boutross,
- Fathermoh,
- Wakadinali,
- Buruklyn Boyz
- and V-Be.
Mwalimu Racheal and Xclusive have been confirmed as hosts while DJ Lyta will be on deck to keep the energy soaring.
Tickets for BoomFest are now available, with regular presale tickets starting at KES 2,000 and VIP tickets at KES 4,000. Regular and VIP tickets cost KES 2,500 and KES 5,000 respectively.

Under the theme “Unite, Embrace and Celebrate”, BoomFest 2024 hopes to encapsulate the spirit of the gathering to celebrate Kenyan talent and art.

With the tagline “Feel the vibe in pride”, the festival aims to foster a sense of pride in the Kenyan music industry while providing visitors with an unforgettable experience.
During the launch event, Martha Huro, Managing Director East Africa at Boomplay, highlighted the importance of the festival in raising the profile and supporting the African music ecosystem.
