Chingi Boy, Stivo Simple Boy’s manager, has revealed that his mother sold a plot of land to become the rapper’s manager.

In an exclusive, Chingi Boy said he will not hand over the social accounts to Simple until the rapper pays him his dues. The manager added that he therefore bought the accounts after the rapper’s former manager absconded with the original accounts, he also has to pay to hand them over because he invested.

Chingi further stressed that it was the Fresh Barida hitmaker who approached him to be the manager instead of Vago who absconded with the rapper’s social media accounts.

He then claimed that he would not hand over the social handles, including the YouTube channel, until Stivo paid him his fees.

In addition, he claimed that many people called him threatening to hand over the bills, but he was yet to hand them over.

In June 2023, the singer’s then management announced that they were no longer managing him. His wife, Grace Ateno,

accused the man in business of mistreating the singer and publicizing his financial struggles. Management, in a twist, released a statement confirming the termination and outlining the transition process while pausing any further projects.

A day later, Stevo revealed that he and his wife would manage his music career as he let go of his former management.

Chingi agreed to part ways with the rapper amid alleged controversies from the rapper’s family. He claimed that when the rapper collapsed on stage at 10.10am, the family blamed him for the cause. He was accused of starving the rapper and defrauding him of his hard earned money.
