Police Arrest Six Sigor Boys for Recording A Video While Raping A Young Lady

Police arrested seven people involved in making explicit video in Chebanyi village, Kimaya, Chepalungu
The suspects were tracked down with the help of nyumba kumi elders after an adult-rated video went viral online

According to a police report lodged at Olbutyo Police Station, the seven persons were said to have been involved in the acts at Chebanyi village in Kimaya, Chepalungu.

Police said they enlisted the help of nyumba kumi elders who helped track down the said persons.

“Following the circulation of a pornographic video which allegedly took place at Chebanyiny village in Kimaya, policemen together with the area chief and nyumba kumi elders conducted an operation in the said area and directed the arrest of seven suspects, two of whom have been identified,” police said.

They further pointed out that detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) in Chepalung have taken over the investigation into the matter.

“The suspects have been placed in a police cell for questioning and various applications to enhance further investigations,” the report continued.

Police have revealed that the video, which has sparked widespread condemnation on social media platforms, may have been filmed in December 2023.

In the traumatizing clip shared on X and other platforms, several men are seen sexually assaulting a lady in a dirty room.

“I haven’t eaten in the last 16 years. I lost my appetite when I was in primary school.

Area boss Edwin Barusei said the main suspect, Anderson Mutai, hosted the recorded clip.

The women seem to be screaming for help as the men continue to chat in their mother tongue.
