KNEC Releases 2025 KPSEA and KILEA Performance Reports, Shares Access Guide

KNEC has made the 2025 KPSEA and KILEA performance reports available. Candidates can access results through the official KPSEA portal

The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has confirmed that performance reports for the 2025 KPSEA and KILEA assessments are now available.

In a notice released on Tuesday, January 13, the examination body informed schools and candidates that the reports can be accessed online through official KNEC platforms.

How Candidates Can Access Their Results

KNEC explained that candidates can view their performance by visiting the KPSEA portal.

They are required to enter their Assessment Number and at least one registered name, then accept the privacy notice before searching for the report.

Once the details are submitted correctly, the performance report will be displayed.

Option for KILEA Candidates

For candidates who sat the KILEA assessment, KNEC said there is an alternative option.

They may collect their performance reports directly from their respective schools instead of using the online system.

Schools Given Access to Detailed Reports

The council also clarified that schools can access more detailed learner performance data.

This information is available through the Competency-Based Assessment (CBA) portal, which allows institutions to review individual learner progress.

The release of the reports comes as KNEC intensifies preparations for the 2026 national examinations.

Earlier this month, KNEC Chief Executive Officer David Njengere announced that registration for KPSEA, KJSEA, and KCSE will open in February.

Njengere advised parents and guardians of learners in Grade 6, Grade 9, and Form 4 to ensure registration is done promptly once the portal is activated.

He also revealed that KNEC will introduce an SMS-based system in April to allow parents to confirm their children’s registration status independently.

According to the council, the move is aimed at improving transparency and reducing errors ahead of the next examination cycle.
