President Ruto Security Bodyguard Wife Shoots Daughter, Attempts Suicide

Langata detectives are investigating a shooting at the home of an officer attached to the Presidential Escort Unit.

According to a police report confirmed on Tuesday morning, April 2, the incident happened after the officer picked up a family for an Easter celebration on South Bypass.

Later in the evening when he returned home, an argument broke out between the police and his wife.

During the argument, the 29-year-old wife ran into the bedroom and returned with a Jericho handgun.

He held a gun, pointed it at himself and threatened to commit suicide in front of his children.

According to a police report, one of the Langata Barracks students begged his mother not to harm him and asked them to resolve their differences amicably.

Then he slowly approached his mother and tried to take the pistol from her.

A fight took place and during the fight, a bullet was fired from the waist collet, which hit the mother’s upper chest and exited the back, and the child was injured in the right hand.
